February 20th, 2011 Generation Elevator Has Grown. Generation elevator has recently expanded its office and shop space. We are proud to have grown bigger than our space can handle and this growth has forced us to add roughly 1000 sq. feet. This addition has added 3 new offices, a conference room, and 4 rooms for parts storage. Although expanding costs our company money we hope to expand again very soon!!
September 16th, 2010 Eco-Friendly Elevator Package. We at Generation Elevator understand the need for eco-friendly changes and we feel we have addressed these needs by using only the leading non-proprietary “green” equipment. Being non-proprietary equipment could possibly be the biggest money saver because the customer will not be stuck in a service contract with a company who installs their own proprietary equipment. Any and all elevator companies can work on Motion Control Engineering equipment and this allows the customer to make the bidding process on their service contracts more competitive. Generation Elevators technicians and sales staff are constantly offering creative ideas for customers and this is no exception. We are very proud to be teamed up with Motion Control Engineering and Imperial Electric, as well as many other manufacturers, to offer this “green” elevator package. January 21st, 2010 Generation Elevator Lands Elevator Modernizations For Indianapolis Housing Authority. We are very excited to have signed a contract to modernize 9 elevators for Indianapolis Housing Authority. Over the course of the next year and a half our technicians will be proudly working at Barton Tower, Barton Annex, Lugar Tower, and Indiana Avenue Apartments. We feel very fortunate to have been given the opportunity to do this work and promise to make the most of it.
October 12th, 2009 Generation Elevator has added another facet to our elevator services. As of February of 2010, we have partnered with Savaria Concord to provide everything from residential elevators to vertical platform lifts. Savaria Concord is a very respectable elevator manufacturer and our technicians are trained in the installation of their equipment.
